A new edition of Fira B is coming! The professional music and performing arts market of the Balearic Islands 2024 will take place from 3 to 6 October and from 6 to 9 November in Mallorca. As was done last year, the music and performing arts program will be in different weeks. Thus, the performing arts program will be held on October 3, 4, 5 and 6, and the music program from November 6 to 9. The Institut d'Estudis Baleàrics (IEB) has opened this year's call for applications. All artists interested in participating in this ninth edition of Fira B! they can register, starting today and until February 29, 2024, at this link:
PARTICIPATE IN THE ARTISTIC CALL
More than 10,500 people attended the FiraB! concerts. Music 2023. Most of the 50 free concerts were sold out. Nearly 400 professionals and artists were accredited at the Professional Conferences: the great showcase of the musical talent of the Balearic Islands. The last edition of performing arts was attended by 2,500 people who enjoyed 27 shows, mainly text theater pieces, new languages, as well as movement, dance, circus, street theater and visual theater.
NEW DATES FIRA B! 2024 PERFORMING ARTS AND MUSIC
Fira B! is a professional music and performing arts market whose main objective is to publicize the most representative recent creations of artists from the Balearic Islands, as well as to promote exchange networks between music and performing arts professionals, both the Balearic Islands and from outside the community, at a state and international level. Fira B! It was born in 2015 exclusively as an exhibition of performing arts from the Balearic Islands. And she did so inspired by the Sea Arts (2013) and Sea Music (2014) festivals and the Fira Illescena (2014).
