Portfolio Reviews Cortona On The Move 2023

The Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics (IEB) has an agreement with the organizers of the photography festival Cortona On The Move to cover the registration fees for 3 photographers from the Balearic Islands to participate in the Portfolio reviews organized by the festival on July 14 and 15, 2023 in Cortona, Italy.

This call is aimed at professional photographers residents in the Balearic Islands or natives of the archipelago.

To register, it is necessary to present a portfolio with at least three recently completed photographic projects.

The IEB takes care of the registration costs in the modality of 8 reviews of the selected photographers, which it pays directly to the festival.

To participate, send an email with a brief professional biography and the portfolio with the projects you will present (in PDF file) to opencall@iebalearics.org until June 15, 2023, indicating in the subject “Reviews COTM 2023 IEB”. The result of the selection will be communicated from June 16 on the IEB website and by means of an electronic mail to all the photographers who have requested their participation.

Once the participation is confirmed by the IEB, the photographers will have to communicate their selection of reviewers to the festival coordination and wait for the confirmation of the requested meetings.

The selection of photographers will be based on the order of arrival of the emails received and the fulfillment of the aforementioned requirements.

The selected photographers, if they are eligible, have the option of applying to the IEB visual arts mobility grant for their travel and stay in Cortona, Italy.
